Ensure all permits and building-code compliance are in place, especially if the installation crosses public rights-of-way or private property .

Choosing the Right Cable

Select the appropriate fiber type based on the environment:

  • Indoor fiber optic cables: Flexible, fire-resistant, and suitable for offices or homes .
  • Outdoor fiber optic cables: Armored or direct-burial types designed to withstand moisture, temperature extremes, and physical stress .
  • Single-mode or multimode: Depending on bandwidth and distance requirements .
